Global Education Leadership Institute
The Global Education Leadership Institute (“GELI”) is an interactive professional development program engineered for aspiring leaders to develop, collaborate, and expand their knowledge of best teaching practices and successful education models around the world. GELI members participate in apprentice-style training sessions to further develop their expertise and learn new practices with the support of mentors.
When is the Global Education Leadership Institute?
GELI usually takes place on a Saturday through Tuesday retreat which is held 3-4 times over the course of a one year period in a variety of international locations. In addition, there will be four one-day online sessions usually held on Saturdays.

What are the minimum criteria to apply?
• Completed application
• Possess a bachelor’s degree and teacher/administrator certification
• Minimum 4 years of teaching/administrative experience plus one full year of successful job performance (administrators should have a minimum of 5 years administrative experience)
• High performance rating from current employer
• Geographically flexible
